  1. Hello John. I’m a long time reader, first time commenter, and I wanted to say how much I appreciate all the hard work and time you invest in this website. Thank you!
    I vaguely remember a piece of information stating that OSs can triger additional melanin production on areas previously afected by melasma. Is there any possibility for that to happen, and is this the case for IOSs also?
    P.S.Please excuse my formulation, I’m not a native english speaker, I hope I made myself understood :)

    • Well, welcome Roxana!

      I’m very glad that you decided to comment for the first time.

      As for having OSs or iOSs trigger additional melanin production, I’ve never read any data or material to suggest that. I can see how that may be possible theoretically, but it’s a super, SUPER far stretch that makes any likelihood of that occurring pretty much negligible. Do you have by chance the source material where you read this information?
