Some of you might have noticed that I have once again, vanished for a few weeks. This is because I was recently hired as a full-time Beauty Advisor for Estee Lauder in the Nordstrom at the Shops at Mission Viejo, CA! It’s been SUPER great so far. For my career, it’s finally a step in the right direction. I’m extremely excited about my future with Nordstrom and the Estee Lauder Corporation, and how this organization can improve customer experience in the future.
If you live around this general area, please come in and see me! I’d love to meet all of you! Please note that because we are approaching our largest sales event of the year, the Anniversary Sale, I’m probably going to be too busy to really sit down with you and have a comprehensive discussion about your skin care routine, etc.. Still, if you’re planning on getting something from the Early Access/Anniversary Sale, do come in and say hi!
When the Sale is over (August 3rd?) though, I’d love to do in-person “Come Out” style reviews of your guys’ entire skin care and foundation routines, if you guys are willing of course. For all of us, it would be more efficient that I simply talk to you guys in-person, instead of having to write everything out, as I’ve had to do for the Come Out Routines thus far. Before coming in to the store, consider making an appointment with me, or at least calling ahead to see if I’m actually on shift.
Now, this position changes nothing in terms of what I do here, except perhaps that my posts will be more focused on generalized information (i.e. Ideal Skin Care Routine), versus more individualized posts (i.e. Come Out Routine Reviews). I will likely also have less time to write posts. Therefore, if possible, it will be easier for you to just come into the store, instead of waiting for me to reply to a comment and/or author a post (which I will still do to the best of my ability).
Also, please don’t feel like you have to buy something just to book an appointment with me, etc.. Having this sales position changes nothing in terms of how far I’m willing to go to be of service, which incidentally is what Nordstrom is all about.
Oh, and keep in mind that even though I work at the Estee Lauder “counter,” I can still recommend products from the entire store (and beyond). So there’s no conflict of interest in case any of you were wondering about that.
So… that should cover everything. I continue to appreciate your guys’ patience and loyalty. I really hope to meet some of you in-person! Feel free to comment about anything that may have been left out! <3
