Another year… gone.
For those of you wondering, yes, I am still alive. Haha. I’ve just gotten a new job about a month ago, and I’ve been rather busy. But I’ve always been busy. I guess I’ve just been in the wrong mindset to write. I don’t know what’s going on with me and/or unwilling to face the truth. 😦 I won’t deny that I’ve definitely lost the motivation to write.
Will I give up on this blog? Most likely not.
But will I be writing any time soon? Again, most likely not.
I’m in a major funk, and have no idea what to do but to keep living my life.
I hope all of you are doing well, and thanks for staying with me. Surprisingly, I’ve had almost 0 followers either unsubscribe, unfollow, or unlike this website. And that means a lot. I hope to get back to writing as soon as possible.
Thank you.
And I will get to your emails and comments, eventually.

Congratulations on your new job! I love your blog…im so interested in skin care and the science behind it. Thank you for all you do. You need to take time to enjoy yourself:)

Posted by John | April 21, 2014, 3:58 pmCongrats on your new job! This fall has been busy for me as well since I’m now studying in school and trying to keep up with my beauty and chemistry studies in the fractions of free time I have.
Are you going to dress up for Halloween? I’m just going to suggest some ideas for a post: after Halloween-makeup skincare treat or even just the costume you decided on and we all can comment on what we dressed up as. I don’t know if that’ll affect your blog style but this is only an idea for a simpler post as opposed to the hours of research you probably do to write your usual ones. :]

Posted by John | April 21, 2014, 3:57 pmHang in there. I lost my focus on reading since last May. Perhaps people who are kind like yourself trying to help others has just put a drain on you. Some people get sad around this time of year. Know your fans are devoted and will stay around till hopefully you come back. I don’t think I know anyone including myself who has had a good year in 2013. Hopefully the new year will bring us all more of what ever is lacking. It just has to get better !
Posted by Caryn | October 12, 2013, 5:34 pmWell it’s almost 4 months past New Year’s. But better late than never, right?
Posted by John | April 21, 2014, 3:56 pmHope you will get your motivation back :*
This blog totally transformed my skin …
Posted by vaingirl | October 11, 2013, 12:37 pmI’m sort of back! I hope you and your skin are still getting along well!
Posted by John | April 21, 2014, 3:56 pmmy own experience, as well as that of my 3 sons, leads me to believe that a “funk” phase (and i’m not talking about a sudden obsession with James Brown) is not at all unusual for someone your age. Hang in there. Life has all kinds of things in store for you, so consider this your resting spell as you prepare for it.
I only want to read what you are passionate and eager for, so I’ll wait until then.
Posted by janine | October 10, 2013, 3:09 pmThank you so much! And I do love me some James Brown music!
Posted by John | April 21, 2014, 3:55 pmOh no, I hope you won’t stop writing, I just discovered yout site! 🙂
Posted by Sandra | October 10, 2013, 10:09 amI hope you’re still with me!
Posted by John | April 21, 2014, 3:55 pmPlease keep posting. There’s too much nonsense and pseudoscience on the net. The ranks of skeptical and science-based bloggers need all the support we can get 🙂
Posted by Seppo Puusa | October 9, 2013, 11:48 pmI’m sort of back now!
Posted by John | April 21, 2014, 3:54 pmHey John! Glad to see you won’t be giving up (: But I don’t mind the tardiness. We’re all just humans, after all. Hope you’ll feel better soon!

Posted by John | April 21, 2014, 3:53 pmJohn,
I’m a strong believer in the benefit of work. I’m glad to hear that you are again gainfully employed. At the risk of being accused of selfish motives, I encourage you to return to your blog. I think your rwiting schedule was overly ambitious, but I find your articles very enlightening. Rosa Lee
Posted by Rosa Lee Merz | October 9, 2013, 10:21 pmI agree completely. It was just too much. Anyways, thanks for the support!
