Actually, I’m excited about all of the series! If I could have voted for them all, I would have! I think I’ve read every single post you have on your site right now, and I really like how you write and elaborate. I do like all of the series you have and it’s always exciting to have varied stuff.
I think that what is so appealing about your product reviews is that there are so few objective resources out there that people can rely on. Most reviews are personal, subjective opinions, which doesn’t always work as a good parameter. However, that being said, there are a gazillion products out there. Which means that it’s damn hard to review them all. So, I think taking a balanced approach is good? Also, I think giving people the tools to be smart about skin care is a lot more useful than a product-by-product approach – although a product-by-product approach does have its merits. I know I’m far too lazy to research products sometimes, and I have learnt a lot by reading your product reviews ^_^ And I’m not gonna lie, I do like your product reviews and was almost tempted to pick that option. But like I said, balance is good for the soul 🙂 And I am gunning for the longevity of your site 😀
Oooh, one thing I really liked is the incredibly detailed “About Me” section you did, as well as the numerous pages on your skin care routine. It’s given me a good insight into your thoughts about skin care and a little about the person behind the site (you). Because, I think, (and most people tend to forget this), you need to know the person behind the text before you can accept what they have to say.
Sorry about the length ^^;; Anyway, what I think I’m saying is that I love the evidence-based articles as well as the more personal opinion-based ones. Bring it all on! 😀
